If you're looking to pick up a GeForce RTX 40 Series GPU on sale in the coming weeks, be sure to get in quick as NVIDIA confirms that there's a shortage.

According to Benchlife (via Videocardz ), we're looking at 6,400 CUDA cores for the RTX 5070. That's well down on the 8,960 rumoured for the RTX 5070 Ti. Perhaps even more pertinently, it's just 9% more CUDA cores than the existing RTX 4070 and, indeed, fewer CUDA cores than the RTX 4070 Super, which rocks 7,168.

Although the RTX 3050 existed in both desktop and laptop versions, the RTX 4050 has only made an appearance in laptops. It’s a budget-friendly option for those who want access to Nvidia’s DLSS 3, but of course, it’s not an outstanding GPU in terms of performance. The cheapest laptops with an RTX 4050 can be bought for around $680.
