A man has been charged with murder in a deadly road rage shooting on Interstate 80 near southwest suburban New Lenox earlier this week.Phillip E. Rogers, 45, is charged with first-degree murder and aggravated unlawful use of a weapon in the shooting death of 30-year-old Lenier Clayton,

The 30-year-old victim was known as “the happiest, most jovial, kind, loving, and well-liked person you’d ever want to meet.”

A person of interest has been taken into custody but no charges were announced as of Wednesday morning in the slaying of 30-year-old Lenier Clayton.
