Console highlights here include the PS5 Slim Fortnite Cobalt Star Bundle for $424 (was $499.99) as well as the Xbox Series X Digital Edition coming in at just $398 (was $449.99). Meanwhile, the Nintendo Switch OLED Mario Kart 8 bundle has dropped to $299 (was $349). As console deals go, these are all superb.

PlayStation’s Black Friday deals began November 22 and will be available through December 2, 2024. Gamers will be able to enjoy deep discounts on PS5 consoles, PlayStation VR2, DualSense controllers and digital games through the PlayStation Store and at select retailers.

The Sony DualSense is easily my favorite controller this gen. While not enough studios make use of its fancy haptic tech, I can't imagine playing some of my favorite PS5 games like Ratchet and Clank: Rift Apart and Astro Bot without it.

PlayStation’s Black Friday sale includes a whopping discount on the PS5’s DualSense controller. The tech-heavy pad is crammed with all manner of haptic feedback motors, dynamic triggers, a built-in speaker and touchpad – I doubt Sony’s turning a profit on them at £39.99. Most colourways have been discounted, so do check before you buy.

The DualSense Controller isn't the only first-party PlayStation accessory deal available for Black Friday.

Sony might have just released the PlayStation 5 Pro, but at $700, it has yet to see any Black Friday deals, and that’s not likely to change anytime soon. It’s a good thing, then, that the far more affordable PS5 Slim models originally released last year are stepping up to pick up the slack.
