High school football playoffs are nearing the climax, as state championships are right around the corner. On Friday, four area schools will represent Class 5 in the Region Championships in Region A and B.

It’s the third round of the high school football state playoffs and eight teams are still standing. After this week’s games, the remaining teams in each classification will be reseeded by the FHSAA MaxPreps rankings points and state semifinal hosts will be determined.
