The Anaheim Ducks are down another forward. Top-line centre Leo Carlsson suffered an upper-body injury Monday against Seattle and did not return, the team announced. Carlsson left the game with just under five minutes left in the second period after Kraken forward Tye Kartye laid an open-ice hit in front of the net that sent the 19-year-old crashing into the post.

The Anaheim Ducks are one of the worst teams in the NHL this season. However, they have some of the brightest young stars in the game. Former second-overall pick Leo Carlsson is one such promising youngster making a name for himself.
